The game plan has three strategic models

Sporting model
The Norwegian model is based on collaboration and a broad, holistic approach to development. The goal is to foster a lasting love of football while developing players and teams that compete at the highest national and international levels.

Commercial model
Interest in women’s football is growing rapidly internationally. Attendance records are being set, new commercial partnerships are being established, women’s teams are being acquired by private investors, and major media deals are being signed.

Recruitment model
Norwegian football needs more women in all roles, including coaches, referees, and leaders. To improve gender balance in Norwegian football, the Norwegian Football Federation (NFF), both centrally and within the regional associations, must lead by example.

2025-30

NFF Strategy 2025–30
This is the strategic plan for all of Norwegian football for the period 2025–2030, and it serves as a guiding framework for the federation centrally, the regional associations, clubs, and subsidiaries.

Our Game Changers
We have defined eight clear objectives that are crucial for Norwegian football. These goals, referred to as Norwegian football’s “Game Changers,” will lift the sport to a new level by 2030 and create a lasting impact for the entire football community.
